Early evening at the lakes

Finally got back to the lakes today.
Mad with myself as didn't leave the house until ten to four and by then there wasn't much sunshine left.
I couldn't walk all the way round, even with boots on, as it was just too flooded - but I still enjoyed a half hour muddy stroll before taking this blip.

I have blipped Radley Lakes many times before. They are just a ten minute cycle ride from the estate where I live. This was taken at Thrupp Lake, the larger of the two reclaimed gravel pits that are now looked after by the Earth Trust and the 'Friends of Radley Lakes'.

Of out to dinner now but will be back later to comment and admire your journals. Have a lovely weekend
