What Day?

I took this photo this morning on our walk but looking at it now, it feels like days ago.
I did some work this morning but promised myself the main part of the day off. I did some gardening and read for a while. It was very hot. Poppy joined me in the garden when she got back from her drive with D. She loves a drive out.
She was very chatty and even though it meant I kept reading the same paragraph of my book over and over, I didn’t mind the interruptions at all. She’s obsessing about buying a Nintendo Switch.
G and J came round for a socially distanced drink in the garden before dinner then they went home and D and Alf bbq’d.
I think I shall miss all these lockdown traditions when it’s all over.
