Change of scene

Up early again, and managed to do a fair bit of sorting before heading down to Portobello to meet up with V.
Absolutely beautiful morning, and we pedalled away along the seafront to Cramond, then headed up the river. Tried out the new Spectre app for the waterfall (thanks WalkingMarj) but then found we had to get up a huge flight of steps. Thank goodness someone offered to help and lifted my heavy rental bike all the way up whilst I helped V with hers. Phew!
Arrived in South Queensferry (extra)...bridges looking gorgeous...and had our packed lunch. It’s always tastier when someone else has made it!
On our way back we came through the Dalmeny estate....beautiful coast and landscape (extras). We were surprised to see 3 planes today, seemed strange after so long.
Not sure how but we took a wrong turning and ended up in Barnton and then along the Ferry Road....so not what we’d planned but still a great outing. Flagging towards the end but it was worth it....47km in total!
Staggered home and got changed and had lots of chilled water to drink, I’ve caught the sun but lovely not to have been at the screen all day. Had a plotting chat with M and D about all the reshaping narrative that’s in the air at the moment. We need a plan!
Later, caught up with AR and Mx doing science experiments with Mt, then with A as she chews over options about her job. Invented a new dessert....put strawberries inside profiteroles!
Didn’t move a lot in the evening...whacked out in a good way.
