Butterfly Refuge

..... seems to be our garden as the fields are being stripped of their hay. This Black Veined White spent quite some time on the Red Valerian this morning, like the Swallowtail did yesterday! Huge thanks for letting him fly onto the first Popular Page by the way.

Another very busy gardening day as everything is rampant at the moment! It is the best growth year we have had for ages. It makes you wonder if it because there is less pollution. The Alpine flowers on the mountain sides, the fields of flowers too, all seem to be in bumper crop mode.
