In full bloom

This is the little bud I blipped on Tuesday which has turned into a full blown beauty.  Such a contrast with the wild dog rose (rosa canina) or briar rose which I noticed outside our gate yesterday evening when I put the bins out.  One so rich, one so simple, both in full bloom and both so beautiful!

Mr Sk is feeling better today.  He's in much less pain and has a lot more movement in his knees. He is very touched by all the concern you've shown him and asked me to thank you.  Thinking about it, Mr Stiffknees is a very apt name for him at the moment!
