Beautiful day

At home it was a bit grey, windy but not cold. We had to go to Lochmaddy to pick up some squat lobsters and octopus and took the opportunity to take a walk on one of the beaches of North Uist.
With an easterly wind, it was surprisingly sheltered and the sun came out. We were back to a tropical island. No problems iwth social distancing - there was no-one else on the 2km long beach.
The squats were duly dispatched, processed and eaten within two hours of being pulled out of the Minch. A few octopuses cooked but others added to our octopus mountain in the freezer......
