Totem gulls

This pair were posing perfectly on the totem pole by the canal in Berkhamsted at lunchtime.

The huge totem pole was a gift from a wood yard in Canada some years ago to a wood yard on the canalside. The wood business closed the totem pole remains.

I'm off out to a 21st Birthday party in a marquee this evening - I'm thinking posh frock and wellies.
