Lottie

These are strange days. Everything here is so perfect but the thought of lockdown ending, and things going back to how they used to be, is preying on my mind.

While I am in the garden, or baking/cooking Mike is working away in his workshop, the garage. The latest project is an auricula theatre, for the side of my hut, but he has plenty of others on the go too!

We have time for sitting together with crosswords and coffee, enjoying the garden and playing with Lottie. We email friends and family, message and even write letters, but it is all so much more peaceful and you don't always feel you should be joining in, getting involved, being coerced to do things. Things are at our pace, which is so much more relaxing and calming. We go to the village, with our masks and our sanitiser, on a Thursday to collect preordered messages but the rest of the time we are here. And loving it!
