Doesn't look too good anymore
Around noon today we had a real big fire in our village. Teba has made her blip of the smoke.
Approximately 100 people were involved, fire brigade, doctors, police, etc. to help extinguish the fire, help wounded people, take care of the traffic and all those other things that need to be done. Our village has ca. 4000 inhabitants, so quite some excitement.
On the picture you see one of them with a gas mask standing on the ladder of the ladder truck from a nearby village (a bit bigger than ours and with heavier industry). He is looking down on the derelict barn.
The damage for the woodworker, whose barn with all inside burned completely down, was approximately 400k € (450k US$). Hopefully for him the insurance covers it. They exist since 1901.
