Did it

Was holed away in my office from 9-5 on one of the warmest days of the year but it was worth it to finally get everything done that I needed to get done. So, a couple of days annual leave this week and then a month of being furloughed starts on Monday.

I cracked open a beer to celebrate, although still not really sure whether it’s ok to be celebrating such a thing. Oh well.

Time for a quick walk around the block this evening and then French drama on TV in the vain hope that I might brush up some on some French. Somewhere there is still a shred of hope that we might get there this summer. Car - ferry - camping: surely one of the safer holidays to be undertaking?!
