Two wheels on my wagon ...
Our home on two wheels
We can pull up the drawbridge
And open the blinds
As mentioned in yesterday's blip, Mark drove a long way to pick up our new (to us) caravan. It is now sitting proudly on the drive (in the rain of course). The prospect of getting away for short breaks and/or holidays is quite exciting as we haven't had a holiday for years.
We had a van before when the children were younger, but then they grew bigger and didn't fit! This one is mainly for us.
Before children we used to borrow my Mum and Dads van; many's the holiday we spent listening to the pitter patter of rain on the tin roof..... happy days.....
Not sure where our first trip will be ... or when ... but we are definitely coming up to Edinburgh during festival time with 54Daisies and their van, so Edinburgh blippers stand by ...!
Sorry today's haiku is a bit rubbish, but I'm not too hot on caravan poetry.
