New Books

I am attempting...attempting being the key word.... to write a semi-autobiographical account in my free time about growing up in the countryside, self-esteem issues, "coming-of-age" on the approach to turning 30.... and a whole other host of millennial topics!

Anyway, I don't read a lot of biographies so thought I'd read some for research purposes. First is the Discomfort Zone by Jonathan Franzen which my boyfriend recommended (he really likes Jonathan Franzen) and "Life of the party" by Olivia Gatwood. Gatwood is about the same age as me so it would be interesting to read her poems, as someone who can probably relate fairly highly to the content.

I usually use my kindle for reading... But for some reason I can't seem to focus on a screen at night seeing as I have to look at them all day for work! Much preferring a page physical these days.
