The Lindis

Heading south to my "happy place" - the Mackenzie country and central Otago. A glorious drive down in brilliant sunshine except for a patch of fog around Lake Pukaki and Twizel so Mt Cook did not show. Then on over the Lindis Pass to Wanaka where unfortunately it was a bit grey and dull too late in the day. But it is just so good to be back here, I miss the South Island high country.
So we are here for 5 nights and we have young James with us...a delight and a challenge at the same time. K & G arrive tomorrow so that will relieve the pressure on us grandparents hopefully!! Looking forward to a great weekend.
