I am a qualified Emergency Transport Attendant for another year,yay! I still find it sightly surreal whenever the siren's blaring and it's up to me to treat someone. I often get asked why I do it for free but it's hard to describe how much you can get out of volunteering. The happy feeling of having made a difference is only the beginning.

My stethoscope was the only vaguely interesting thing I could think to photograph after an incredibly long day.
