So many early mornings have been like this. A clear blue sky, and early morning still cool. The best time of the day.

We are heading for the driest Spring since records began. April and May have seen very little rain. The Environment Agency must be dusting down those drought plans. These big swings between weather extremes are becoming the new normal.

We are all worrying about the COVID 19 emergency. But we must not forget about the climate change emergency, which is not going to go away. It seems odd to be saying this on such a lovely day, but it’s how it is.and is going to be We are living in interesting times and will have to adapt over time.
