Ancient

This is our local wood, which is ancient.  The Woodland Trust owns it and runs it and a great local amenity it is.

And our Community Turbine runs a tithe system by which some of the profits are creamed off for local activities and groups, aiming for benefits to the environment, of course.  The Woodland Trust has just been awarded some dosh to fill in some of the woodland with appropriate planting.
