Pollok House Parterre

Today being Wednesday it was my day for walking in Pollok Park. It was such a lovely morning that I decided to take my book and a wee flask of coffee ..... I did have a seat in the garden where there wasn't another soul to be seen.

According to Google a parterre is a level space in a garden occupied by an ornamental arrangement of flower beds.  Not too many flowers at the moment but toddlers are still happy to run and play games between the hedges.
