Wonderful walk

Bank Holiday Monday 25th May 2020         (backblip)

A fabulous day ....... blue sky ...... sunshine & a breeze! Just right for a lovely walk!

We headed off intending to have a wander in the wood ....... when we reached there we could hear lots of voices & music playing ..... another party going on!

Deciding there would be too many people about to walk safely we settled for a wander up to the end of the road & back ..... without the detour through the wood!

We saw lots of wildlife of the feathered variety! Goldfinch, Chaffinch, Robin, Blackbird, Swifts, House Martins, Buzzard, Kestrel plus a few bees & butterflies fluttering about :-)

We also saw the Swallows .... this one posed on the wire for me ....... a pair of Yellowhammer .... managed to get this one photo! The Whitethroat was singing away on the wire again & we also saw a family of Dunnock in the trees .... hope you like my choices :-)

We also saw a beautiful flower growing up a wall ..... I have added it as an Extra ..... anybody know what it is please?

Update: Flower is Lathyrus vestitus .... a wild variety of Sweet Pea!
