Sunshine

This was not the intended photo for today, but I preferred it to the others I had taken, including the one I had intended using. It is the usual former church, but with the blossom from a conveniently situated tree,

In Scotland this is the final day of our so called lockdown. So called because it was never a lockdown, and given the permitted exceptions, it could never be enforced. Tomorrow we officially move to Phase 1 of the easing of the rules. In reality just about everybody is in Phase 1 already, and many have moved to aspects of Phases 2 and 3.

From tomorrow in Phase 1 we are allowed to travel as far as about five miles from our place of residence. We can also sit down when visiting a `park, which people already do, and meet with with people from another household outdoors, which as far as I can see many people have been doing for weeks. So basically a new "Phase" but no change.

At least in the current phase over the last nine weeks the weather has been mostly fairly kind to us. April was not cold and we have had mostly dry and often sunny weather throughout. Today was another such day. There was a distinct coolness in the air but the sun is warm.
