It's behind you...
Today is the end of the first half of the school year, and all students get their half year Zeugnis (school report) for some reason this means that the kids had school only until 1030.
Madness.
Last night at the wine tasting Rebecca and I were muttering to each other about the inability of the school system to function as we think it should and decided that our 90 minutes of childfreeness would be best utilised with a dog walk and gossip (on the off chance that we hadn't caught up enough whilst sampling some 8-9 wines)
I've blipped Oscar and Logan together before, and I tried in vain to get them together today but it wasn't to be. Both dogs love the water, but only to lie in or in Oscar's case to retrieve things from (Logan is a retriever in name only) today Logan was thinking more of his stomach than of play, while Oscar found a very big stick for us. The stick was thrown in the river and Oscar went to fetch, it's clearly visible at about 3 o'clock on the right of the photo, but Oscar seemed incapable of turning his head backwards, he was also quite unwilling to walk away leaving his stick, good job he suffers from separation anxiety because as soon as he sensed us disappearing from view he abandoned his lost cause.
