A bit of a rest...

After 5 days straight in the mudroom, making, sieving and glazing pots....i was feeling pretty exhausted this morning!  But i was determined to get into the studio and play around with some new art supplies!  oh nothing compares!!!

These are just the beginnings of some new paintings.  

A beautiful warm day and we just went out to check out the kiln and the feeling of the warm wind on our faces, the sound of the peepers and just the whole thing of not having to deal with snow....such a delight!!!

the kiln is almost cool enough to look into later.  I'm anxious to see some glaze tests!
