Spring.....

...is just around the corner.

Was so nice to walk into the garden today and see the first signs of new life in the undergrowth.

Like me, they obviously wait until February to really start the new year.

Goodbye January. Its been emotional.

The long walk I promised myself today hasn't materialised. Mainly because the crisp sunshine that was promised is actually wind and sleet. Normally that doesn't bother me, but not in the mood today.

So, mugs of steaming hot tea and The Dark Knight Rises on DVD should pass the afternoon nicely. It is Friday after all!
