I passed by this apple tree on my way home from the store and stopped there for a while. Small bumble bees were flying around, but the one I managed to catch in a photo were too far away. I settled for this shot instead. People were walking past me, and driving past, when I stood there enjoying the flowers.
When I came home I was 'greeted' by a large wasp. A female looking for a place to build a nest. She was at my open window too, but thankfully the opening was much to small for her to fit in. I just heard her. I immediately started knitting my wasp nest. I'm hanging it outside on my patio, so the wasps can see that this area is already taken.
