I am sure this canada goose gosling wasn't putting his tongue out at me!
They were in the River Gardens as I wondered around awaiting for a peregrine to show, it didn't. The female peregrine was on the nest but out of sight. A friend has got a photo of the tops of 3 tiny chicks heads as they stretched for food so it will be fun seeing them all when they are a little bigger.
It is such a nice time of year with all the young around. In extra are juvenile blackbird and greenfinch in the garden today.
