Beer garden?
Somehow during these locked down days, I still seem to manage to run short of time. Today, in approximate order, I listened to the Electronic Ears playlist for this evening's show, did some more carpet cleaning with the Rug Doctor, made some notes for the show (mostly stuff I'm likely to forget when the red light is on), made the kids lunch, did my German (408 day streak!), went out for a walk with Dan, recorded the radio show, cooked dinner, and had the regular Sunday evening Zoom call with the Good Gang.
Phew!
The carpet cleaning was a little frustrating; the Doctor only ships with enough fluid to clean a few square yards of carpet, so I've had to order a much bigger bottle and that won't arrive until midweek. Mind you, what I've done is looking great.
For our walk, Dan and I went up to Casterton, taking a slightly longer loop than usual, so that we came down past the school and church. This is the top of that lane. You can see the old railway bridge at the back of the shot and to the right is a little roadside memorial garden, featuring two wooden chairs and a wooden bench. This might be just the socially distanced place to meet up with Hugo for a beer!
