Ride

Up at the crack of dawn again, well, before it. I'm seriously considering buying a new mattress as my aches and pains multiply, but I guess that won't help my bladder! :)) Anyway, I managed a coffee and a shower and was out by 6.30am, and what a lovely morning for a bike ride. I planned to set off into the Essex countryside, find somewhere stunningly scenic, take my photographs of the bike and enjoy the ride home or wherever my nose took me... nice plan. Except it's incredibly difficult to find anywhere like that when you're zipping along enjoying yourself. I'm sure Essex has lovely locations to suit those needs but I couldn't find one place, so I settled for what you see here. I did stop off at Hanningfield Reservoir where there were an impressive amount of geese flying about, but without my big zoom that will have to wait until another day.
