I wasn't very happy with most of my pics, which included vapourer and spindle ermine moth caterpillars, a tortoise bug, a muntjac's bottom and a bee on a yellow flag. My micolight shot was OK but I've posted that machine fairly recently. In the end I've decided on two male thick-thighed flower beetles on a dog rose. The females have skinny thighs. :) I'm not keen on this view of the insects. I don't know why I took it, maybe because there were two on the same bloom. The wild roses are beautiful at the moment.
