The Merc in for repairs!

As all children should have a decent car here is Harry’s Merc in for repair! The battery was not functioning correctly so it was sent to Mrs Tbay Jnrs  family garage in Weston. The boys were of course very amused by their latest repair job and felt it should have the full works including a new number plate. See extra. I am also glad to report they have managed to locate the problem and it will be back in full use again in a few days time!

The garage which belonged to Mrs Tbays late father is the oldest in Weston and has an interesting history. Next year it will be 100 years old!

A lazy lunch at a BBQ with the Tbay Jnrs . Boy was it hot today. I am actually getting a tan on my legs. That is almost unheard of!

Now into week 9 of lockdown. The Hospital in Weston-super-Mare has just announced that they are closing all admissions due to Corona Virus case increases. If we are injured it will either be Taunton or Bristol now. We have been lucky up to now as the numbers of Corona Virus cases has been very low in our area. I hope this news is not the start of far more around us. 

Our shopping also arrived today and the team swung into action . Trestle tables up, bowls of Zoflora  and cloths at the ready , and off we went. Every item has to be wiped down before we take them indoors. Twenty minutes later all was processed including us who all smelt of Zoflara too! 

As always several item were missing but at least we get a shopping slot! I feel I can live without custard powder for a few weeks!!
