Taking a waterpistol to a hose fight...

Well what a day!
This morning I couldn't find my keys, Cara had gone to work, and I couldn't find my spares either. Much to my frustration, as I had two cars on the drive (Cara had cycled), a motorbike and a push bike in the garage, I had to take the bus to uni. Still, it was quite a novel experience - first time Ive taken the bus in ten years of living in Dunedin. Mind at almost $5 for a short ride I wont be rushing to repeat it.
Harry came to the rescue so I didnt have to try and find the bus stop that would take me home and even bought me a coffee! Friends in need :)
Odd and I went for a run, which was stinking hot, before Cara and the kids arrived home. We were all in need of cooling down so Cara beat a rapid retreat and I had great fun soaking the kids and the lad from next door. He'd heard the screams and came to investigate. Weight of numbers finally disarmed me and I left them to it. Their enthusiasm was the only thing not dampened!
Here Daniel learns why not to take a waterpistol to a hose fight. Love Abi's face - full of malicious glee. Sibling rivalry at its best.
