'French Toast Anyone?'

As I was coming downstairs to leave for work this morning, this was the sight. Bella up on her stool making french toast (with a little help from mummy)
Here she's mixing up the eggs and coating the pieces of bread ready for frying up in the saucepan.

She loves helping out in the kitchen, hopefully one day she'll be as good a cook as her mum and gong gong (grandfather in Chinese).

An early site meeting in Brighton this morning to catch p with progress on a new house. Today the ground floor slab was being poured, and wouldn't you know it, rain all last night. Haven't any any for months and bang, down it comes as soon as we had the concretors out. Luckily it had stopped by early morning and the slab was able to go ahead as planned.

The rest of the day was spent tidying up RFI's (requests for information) from builders that I've had to put to one side for a few days while other things took priority.
