Feisty female cardinal

Male  northern cardinals get a lot of attention thanks to their eye-catching beauty and brilliant red feathers. Just seeing one along the trail or in the backyard buffet is a real treat. However, in my opinion, this feisty female cardinal deserves just as much attention. Do you agree with me, or do you prefer the male?

Today's extra, a male Baltimore oriole, is in a class of his own. He was willing to pose, so I captured several shots before the photo session was over.
