Down in West Norwood Cemetery today

I came across Augustus Siebe, an engineer of diving equipment. I love the helmet motif engraved on his gravestone.

It was a gorgeous day, hence the walk in the cemetery. I hoped to spot one of the woodpeckers, jays or sparrowhawks that frequent the area, but I came across only crows and squirrels.

I put the finishing touches to the apple tree book and it's gone to the illustrator. I look forward to seeing it in glorious colour.
