Welland Viaduct

Another socially distanced picnic bike ride today, lovely to meet up with friends I’ve not seen since before lockdown. Then with such perfect weather I rode home the long way round - a total 70 miles today. Pausing for a snack stop here to admire the viaduct which is grade II listed, 82 arches and 1.2 km long. Allegedly it contains 30 million bricks. Anyway it’s very fine and impressive from a variety of angles.
