Corona Virus update
Bahrain registered 228 new cases of Covid-19 yesterday, bringing the total active cases to 4,241.

BAHRAIN’S hospitality, tourism and aviation sectors could face an estimated BD500 million loss by the year-end,  there are a total of 128 hotels in the country, including 21 five-star properties, with two new projects in the pipeline, 59 four-star properties and 47 three-star hotels.
Capacity at the quarantine, treatment and isolation facilities for Covid-19 have been increased.   The capacity of the treatment and isolation facilities have been increased to 5,691 beds and the occupancy is 4,410.  The capacity in quarantine facilities have been raised to 5,168 and the occupancy is 719.

Saudi reported 2,593 new cases bring the overall number of infected patients to 57,345 cases,
