Life through the lens...

By ValC

Hungry?

Food for slugs, but fortunately not a lot around at the moment. Probably because of the dry weather.
Off out to water the garden again, as the rain we had yesterday didn't do much, and with the breeze and sun today, everything is very dry again.

A beautiful Bank Holiday Monday.
After our morning walk, we spent most of the day in the garden, or rather in and out of it as after 15 mins it was a bit too hot for me, and the sun was very strong.
Our neighbours enjoyed it though. Sat on sunbeds all afternoon sunning themselves. They should have been down in Cornwall for B's brother in law's 70th birthday.  Yet another celebration put on hold.
Looking at some of the webcams, fortunately the beaches round St Ives didn't look very busy. No one walking over the causeway to St Michael's Mount, and Padstow empty too.

Hope you have enjoyed the weekend and they say the fine weather is going to continue.
So back to the watering.

PS    Well done to  Welcome to  Yorkshire. Their Chelsea garden of 2018
( The Yorkshire Dales)  won the peoples choice of Garden of the Decade.
and rightly so..
