Late afternoon at Friars Crag

To find Friars Crag totally deserted on a Bank Holiday weekend is a sign of the current situation. 

After a wet day, it was lovely to see the clouds clear late in the afternoon, and we benefited from a late walk in the sunshine. This shot did take some very careful exposure to preserve the dynamic range and keep detail within both the shadow and highlight areas. I think it worked pretty well though.
