Bouquet

I wanted to take flowers to friends whose Mum/mother in law has away. I'd assumed I'd go to my local florist. Then I remembered that I have a garden!

Even in late autumn there are flowers. The kaka beak (clianthus) is rampant. I used some as greenery.

Here's the finished bouquet tied with string.

Rain, glorious rain fell overnight and this morning. It's not a drought breaker but it will help. It's been noticeably colder too.

Today's gratitude: For feeling close to Mum as I cut flowers and prepared them to wrap.
