A Haircut at Last!

Lockdown Day 63

The boys were booked in for grooming today at our local pet shop/groomers as Charlotte still hasn’t started grooming yet and when she does there’s 68 dogs before anyone else due to lockdown cancellations.  It cost us double to take them to Dapper Dogs but it was well worth it, and they even had their teeth cleaned!

The guy that runs the pet shop was very safety conscious and when we arrived we had to close the front door so that no one else could come in, then we had to remove the harnesses and leads and put the boys in a crate, and when we left and had closer the front door again, they let them out. They’re not allowed to touch our leads so we had to take them home with us, but I felt very comfortable that they were operating in such a way.

When we got home we cleaned the house from top to bottom, the bedding was washed and hung out to dry and we’d just finished when we got the call to go and collect the boys.  We dropped them at home and then Alan and I walked down to Whitecliffs Cafe to have a coffee and cake, however their entertainment had attracted far too many people for our comfort so we didn’t stay.  I’ve added a couple of photos to my extras.

I went in the hot tub for an hour and then cooked the Sunday roast - today we had minted lamb chops that I bought from the farm shop on Friday, they were delicious!  Then it was another evening spent in the Palace.
