The indescribable beauty of an urban winter II

It would be so depressing if it weren't for the park board's huge effort to dot the trails with strategically placed splashes of color. Not too much though, it must not be cheer-inducing. Just enough to snap us out of the breyge*-induced coma.

It should be warming up to just below freezing by next weekend, at which time I'll make an effort to see the ice castle at the MOA before they close it down.

*equal amounts of brown, grey and beige.
