Like a Cherry Pie

After a busy day in the yard I sat near our Cherry Tree for a while to see if I could capture a hummingbird feeding on the flowers that are beginning to open. Instead, I enjoyed watching several acrobatic chickadees jumping from blossom to blossom foraging seeds and insects. It was quite fun to watch their animated excitement. I imagine they were as happy as I would be if someone presented me with a cherry pie right now! • We prepped our veggie garden for tilling next week, spreading our own compost and (purchased) manure. We can’t wait to get planting! • Take care of yourselves.
