Mr. & Mrs.

It's kinda an overcast, rainy day here.  The grass still needed to be mowed, I got the backyard done including the edging before the rain.  The front yard still needs to be done but it doesn't look near as bad as the back did.  I'm glad I got the back done, I look out back more often then out front anyway.  The bullock's orioles were back today and I managed to get a shot of both the Mr. and the Mrs. on the suet feeder at the same time.  Makes me laugh that they seem to like to eat upside down.

So as a post script.....
Later in the day I had a visit from a Tanager, it flitting in and out most of the afternoon and then a Brown Thrasher!  The Thrasher photo was taken through the screen on the window so it's not the best but I captured it.  According to my Merlin bird id it's rare for my neighborhood.  At the encouragement of a friend and fellow blipper I came back in to post them both.
