Poppy

I took some shots of the cows in the field by the river on our walk, which would have been just about OK for my blip. On the home stretch though I noticed some poppies growing out of the roadside wall and leaned somewhat precariously over the wall (with a big drop on the other side) to get another shot of the cows through the poppies. Then I crossed over the road and saw some much healthier looking specimens which didn't require an act of contortion to get the photo. I liked this lone one the best.

In other news I oiled the kitchen worktops last night. They do look nice now. Also, after listening to 6 Music on the Amazon Echo this morning, for some reason I said Alexa Play Stop  instead of Alexa Stop  and was rewarded with the Spice Girls. Isn't life fun at the moment.
