I thought it was getting time to check the brake pads on Malcolm the Mutlicharger and it transpires I have done it just in the nick of time. I'd say the old ones are past their best don't you think?

I had the one pair, kept as spares, so changed the fronts and will order the rears, which aren't quite as bad, from the local bike shop when they re-open on Wednesday. They're having a long weekend off. I could, of course, order them online but I like to support the LBS. They've been good to me over the years.
