A late developer

After watching and singing along with our church service on YouTube I went out into the garden to try and rescue some of the plants which had taken a battering in yesterday's very wet and windy conditions.

In among the feathery foliage of one of my pulsatilla plants I spotted two new flowers, I hadn't even spotted the buds. I blipped the first of the flowers on April 4th and now on May 24th the final one .....unless there are more buds hidden among the greenery.

The weather has been much better today. Some mizzley rain first thing and only a light wind. I managed my walk today which was put on hold from yesterday.
