We should have flown Qantas!

As mentioned by Paladian we had a nightmare check-in, where for the first time ever the Virgin check-in staff weighed our carry on bags.

Although small in size, they were quite heavy because they contained our lens collection, cameras and iPads. We were forced to completely repack all of our bags, so on with our overcoats and into our pockets went lenses and camera bodies.

The iPads went inside my shirt!

Back to the counter again and we passed the weight checks after much stress and proceeded on our way. After hand luggage security all the lenses went back in our bags again and this whole exercise is so utterly ridiculous.

We will never fly Virgin again and.....we should have flown Qantas. Hence the blip of this beautiful Qantas plane.
