DERELICT SUNDAY

There has been much controversy about opening churches in the US,
with our president threatening governors, if they hesitate to open them this weekend.  Our California governor is working with religious leaders to
devise a safe plan to re-open churches, so that community spread of COVID-19 will not follow worship.

This historic church, in a neighboring town, appears to be closed for reasons that have nothing to do with the pandemic.  (SEE EXTRA)
It has a sign that states it was built during the early settlement of the town,
& has been the home of a variety of congregations over the years.
Sadly, there is a sign on the rear door that says the building
is no longer safe to enter.  It appears to be vacant.

I wonder how our president will manage this....
