The Craft of the Blacksmith

I cannot be sure, but these look as if they were the original wrought iron railings that would have been erected in the 1880s. Most were requisitioned for scrap during WW2. You can spot where they were removed because they left behind a metal stub where they were cut with an oxyacetylene torch.
