Day 11: Late season flowering..... “The Fairy”

Another day in Alert Level 2 and no further fresh Covid-19 cases. There was only one new case in the whole of last week. Such a relief. These pink roses named “The Fairy” have been bravely flowering and adding colour to our garden deep into the autumn. We’ve had murky cloudy cool weather today with rain setting in from late afternoon. There is heavy rain predicted for many parts of the country overnight and into tomorrow. Not good news for the huge search being made in the Kahurangi National Park for two young trampers who have been missing in the wilderness areas for two weeks now. Such a terrible worry for their family and friends.
