The RSPB emblem

Couldn't resist a quick drive to one of the places where Avocets breed near where I live. No sign of any chicks just yet...maybe a tad early. They are such beautiful birds and are the chosen bird for the RSPB emblem.

RSPB Medmerry in Sussex are lucky to have approx 25 breeding pairs or even more.
