Day 144/20 Bad Timing

So it rained after I'd hung out the washing..

I checked the weather forecast yesterday - bright sun all day, so I decided to go to the lakes on my bike early to avoid the families basking in the sun. I was sort of right - no families, but no damselflies either - too early for both.

I got home and put my cycling clothes in the wash - forecast was overcast now, but sunny for the rest of the day.

I hung out my washing then it rained.  I left the washing on the line while I went out to leave a bottle of Sloe liqueur and Sloe Jelly on the doorsteps of a couple of friends, then on to Home Bargains for Fat Balls for the birds. It turned out to be a 4 mile round trip, with the bag heavy with bird food on the final, uphill, leg.

When I got home the wind and intermittent sunshine had dried the washing - result.
